Zodiac Nautic is known worldwide as the pioneer of inflatable boats and RIBs. The brand traces its origins to the Société française de ballons dirigeables et d'aviation Zodiac, a French airship specialist. Engineer Pierre Debroutelle developed the first inflatable boat prototypes for the French Naval Air Force in the 1930s. What began in the air eventually conquered the sea.

The tube: innovation through thermo-bonding
Zodiac Nautic uses a unique industrial process: thermo-bonding. In this process, the pieces of Strongan material are welded together instead of glued. This guarantees a perfect seal, a virtually indestructible connection, and a longer lifespan.
Removable tube: an original Zodiac concept
On most Zodiac models, the tube (float) is equipped with a tendon that fits into a groove in the hull. When inflated, the tube creates a watertight seal. The tube is completely removable, which significantly simplifies maintenance, transport, and storage.
